Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls’ XC Team for winning the Middle School State Meet on Saturday, and congratulations to Ele Wharton who was the Individual State Champion. These ladies won every meet they competed in this season, worked hard, and positively represented Summit.

Attention Johnston Women’s Golfers. Please fill out the following form to communicate your intentions for JHS Spring Women’s Golf 2022 (students must fill out the form). JHS Spring Women’s Golf is for current 9th-12thgraders. However, if numbers allow, current 7th– 8th graders may be allowed to join the team for practices and to gain experience. The Summit GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) will be having its first meeting of the school year on Thursday, October 21 from 3-3:30 in the Summit Media Center. April Henry knows how to write a thriller! Playing with Fire is about a girl named Natalia who goes on a day hike with a coworker from the Dairy Barn. While hiking, Natalia and Wyatt find themselves in the middle of a forest fire. Natalia is scared of fire after a traumatic previous experience with fire which adds to the drama of this tale of survival. The duo team up with some others who they meet on the trail. Will they make it out to the road in time?
