SMS CHEER CLUB
Summit Cheer Club is a student-run club for anyone who loves to cheer. This is not a team, so there will not be uniforms. There will also not be any teams to cheer for. Instead, participants will practice and learn cheers and short dances together for a fun practice experience!
If you are interested in joining, please bring your form to the first meeting on Tuesday, November 29th in the Expedition Community.
“IF I WERE MAYOR” ESSAY CONTEST
The Iowa League of Cities runs an essay contest for 7th grade students titled “If I Were Mayor.” More information can be found on their website here: https://iowaleague.org/awards/if-i-were-mayor/
There is a link on the page to submit essays electronically, they are due December 12, 2022.

GSA CLUB
The Summit GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) next club meeting will be on Thursday, December 8 from 3-3:30 pm in Room 136 (Expedition Community).
GSA club members MUST have transportation home from Summit after the meeting. Please reach out to the GSA staff sponsors, Mrs. Heston or Mrs. Brock with any questions.

JHS WOMEN’S GOLF
Attention Johnston Women’s Golfers. Please fill out the following form to communicate your intentions for JHS Spring Women’s Golf 2023 (students must fill out the form). JHS Spring Women’s Golf is for current 9th-12th graders in spring 2023. We will again make every effort possible to have sessions for current 7th and 8th graders, so please signup so you can get information regarding the program.
