LOST AND FOUND

Students–please check the lost and found for clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc. These items will be donated at the end of the school year.

DRESS UP DAYS

The 7th grade student leaders have selected the following dress up days for Summit Middle School. These continue through the last day of school and are completely optional. Please make sure to dress appropriately for school. Thank you!

End of the Year

Thank you to everyone that has returned their books!  We have just over 100 books out, so please find your books and return them next week.  Any lost books will result in a replacement fine.

Summer Reading

Be sure to keep reading over the summer!  It’s the best way to maintain your reading skills over the summer break.  The Johnston Public Library has an awesome summer reading program with amazing prizes geared for teens.  Be sure to check it out!  Looking for a good book to read?  Check out next year’s Teen Choice and Iowa Children’s Choice nominees for a suggestion!

GARDEN CLUB

Garden Club meets on Thursdays from 2:50 – 3:30 in Room 129 (Mission).  Students must be able to be picked up at 3:30 or get home on foot.

SUMMER STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

Summer Strength & Conditioning Information for Current 7th Grade Students, going into 8th Grade Next Year:

The Summer Strength & Conditioning sessions will be open to Current 7th grade students, entering 8th next year. The free sessions will start Monday, June 10th.

Incoming 8th and 9th graders will attend the JMS Schedule (Yellow), however 9th grade football players will attend the JHS Schedule (Purple). Incoming 10th, 11th and 12th graders will attend the JHS Schedule (Purple). All schedules are below, for parents that have students in multiple buildings.
