FROM THE SUMMIT LIBRARY
How Many Books Contest?
Way back in October, I asked people to predict how many books we will have checked out by May 1st. You submitted your guesses, and now it’s time to find out the winner! On May 1st, we had checked out a total of 22,272 books!!! Noah Kokemuller had the closest guess (21,567). Congrats to Noah!!! Shout out to Mr. Burgett who had the 2nd closest guess (being a math teacher must have been an advantage!).
End of the Year
Reminder that ALL library books are due back May 18th! Please start to find and return your books to avoid a fee at the end of the year.
Featured Book of the Week
What Lives in the Woods is for all you scary book fans! It’s on next year’s Iowa Children’s Choice list and features Ginny whose family goes to live in a creepy mansion for a month on Lake Michigan. Is the house and the woods surrounding it haunted??
