Library Stats
This year we checked out 22,976 books to Summit students! That’s a lot! Natalie Paulson checked out the most books for a 6th grader (291) and Manasvi Dhanekula checked out the most for the 7th graders (146). Mr. Ibeling’s basecamp checked out the most books as a basecamp (1385).
Featured Book of the Week
Next year’s Iowa Children’s Choice and Iowa Teen Award book lists have a lot of great titles! They would make excellent summer reads. You can find them at your public library and on Mackinvia (on your iPads). Be sure to keep reading this summer! 😊
STUDENT COUNCIL FUND RAISER
Student Council is co-hosting an Outdoor Movie Night this Friday 5/20 at the Johnston Town Center. Movie starts at 8:30. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available and we will be showing the movie Tangled. All ages are welcome to attend! Attached is the flyer with more details.
