GARDEN CLUB
Summit Garden Club is seeking gently used garden tools and supplies.
Last gardening season, the Summit Garden Club was able to donate over 600 pounds of fresh produce to the Johnston Partnership. Students are seeking to beat that amount this year, but we need your help! We are seeking donations of gently used gardening tools and supplies.
Items might include garden rakes, weeders, shovels, trowels, spades, pitchforks, cultivators, etc. If your home is looking to replace your used tools and/or you are looking to make space in your storage, we would gladly take any unused/unwanted garden supplies off your hands. Please contact Allison Barlow at allison.barlow@johnston.k12.ia.us if you have any questions. Donations can be brought to the front office.
Garden Club will meet Thursday after school.

HYPERSTREAM
Our next step is to identify how to make our systems better and how to run faster, order parts or supplies, and make them run like butter without spending $1,000,000. Stop by and see me on Friday or Monday if you have some ideas before we meet Tuesday next week.

Featured Book of the Week
I loved this book! Red, White, and Whole is about an Indian-American girl whose entire life changes with her mother’s leukemia diagnosis. This book is written in verse and is a fast read!
