Dragon Time students with Mrs. Green and Ms. Ites spent time this spring making no-sew t-shirt bags for the Johnston Partnership and the Riverside Bidwell Center. Students presented these bags, along with nonperishable food and personal items, to Andrea Cook of the Johnston Partnership.  Students plan to present the other half of the bags to a representative from Riverside Bidwell later in May.

The Summit Minecraft Club created a collaborative world to thank Mr. Buchan for allowing us to use his room during our club meetings.  Students created a lavish Thank You! sign complete with cascading walls and pyrotechnic fireworks, and included Mr. Buchan’s favorite goodies in Minecraft, and students helped him navigate the world to see his throne, thank you sign, and treasure chest full of goodies.  The club also gave Mr. Buchan a box of real-world goodies to match those in his digital world.
