Winter Warmth Drive

October 26  – November 13

Summit Middle School is collecting donations of new or gently used  winter coats, hats,  gloves, boots, scarves, and snow pants that will be donated to the Johnston Partnership.

Donations can be dropped off in the box located at the entry to each community OR in the front office.

Share the Warmth!

The Johnston Partnership is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization that has been serving the community almost 20 years and is led by an all-volunteer board.

Sponsored by Summit Student Leaders

From the Library:

Featured Book of the Week:

Class Act by Jerry Craft is a companion book to his Newbery winning book, The New Kid.  This graphic novel focuses on Drew from Jordan’s friendship circle at school.  Jerry Craft has a way of making you feel like you are right there with the boys through both his illustrations and text.  A worthy sequel to The New Kid.

Overdue Notices:

When you get an e-mail from the library letting you know you have overdue books, please return them to one of the bins outside of each of the library doors on the main level.  If you’d like to renew your book, just reply to the e-mail.  If you are home sick or quarantining, you can reply back and ask to renew as well or just bring it back as soon as you are back in the building.  The e-mails are just a reminder!  You are NOT in trouble!

SAS Dodgeball Tournament

Any students interested in registering for the annual SAS Dodgeball Tournament, please pick up a flyer in the front office and return by Monday, November 23rd.
