PERSONAL CARE AND CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Summit Middle School is now collecting donations for the Food Bank of Iowa!

Starting after spring break, there will be bins outside of every community that you can put your donations in. Examples of donations include toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, band-aids, hand sanitizer, first aid supplies, and canned foods. There will be a separate bin where you can place the canned foods. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at zhang.zoe@jdragonmail.us (personal care drive) and dummermuth.audrey@jdragonmail.us (canned food drive). Thank you for helping those in need!

FROM THE LIBRARY

Book Madness –  We have our FINAL FOUR set – Restart, Raina Teigmeier Books, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Harry Potter!  The vote for these games will be e-mailed to you the Monday after Spring Break.

Featured Book of the Week

The Good War is a thought provoking book about the potential dangers with online gaming.  When Ironville Middle School starts a gaming club, students are pretty excited to get to play video games at school.  But when the game chosen mimics World War II, some of the students start to take the game a little too seriously.
