MATH COUNTS:

Starting on Thursday, January 7^th 2021…..MATH COUNTS will meet every Thursday from 3 pm to 4 pm in Mr. Skinner’s room (if in-person learning) or online through the Zoom link on the Math Counts Moodle page.  Let the Competition Begin……!!!! Come join us!!

Featured Book of the Week:

The Canyon’s Edge by Dusti Bowling is a book you will want to read in one sitting!  This gripping story (told mostly in verse) is about Nora who goes hiking in a slot canyon in Arizona with her dad.  A freak flash flood comes through the canyon washing her dad and all their supplies far away from Nora who was able to get up on a ledge.  You will want to read how Nora survives and about her search for her dad.  Will she find him?  Will he be alive?
