Featured Book of the Week:

Insignificant Events in the Life of Cactus is on this year’s Iowa Teen Choice list.  Aven Green was born without arms.  Everyone at her school grew up with her, and it was no big deal.  But when Aven’s parents buy an amusement park in Arizona, they have to move across the country.  There she will face new students with lots of questions about her disability which she dreads.  Luckily, she meets a great friend, Connor, who is dealing with his own disability.  This book is heartwarming and funny!
