  • INTERESTED IN SUMMIT STUDENT LEADERS NEXT YEAR?: If you are a 6th Grade student and are interested in leadership, please apply to be a Summit Student Leader for next school year.   Applications can be found in the office,  click on the link Student Leader Application, or use the QR code attachment to download the application.   Applications are due to Mr. Hiatt by Wednesday, April 17th.
  • CANCER WALK: Johnston High School Student Council is hosting the first ever Cancer Walk at the high school on April 28th from 2-4 PM. If you pre-register now, you will receive 4 free game tickets for games that you can play at the event! You can purchase game tickets at the event for $0.25 per ticket. The event will also include a cook-out for food available for purchase, t-shirts for sale, and a walk to bring awareness to cancer.  Registration forms and an informational flyer are attached. Last day for pre-registration is Thursday April 25th. You may turn in your pre-registration forms and payment to the Summit office. You can register at the door for this event as well. This is a community event so invite all friends and neighbors!
  • T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST: Reminder: If you are participating in the Green Days t-shirt design contest, your entry is due to Mrs. Hafner by Monday, April 8th!
  • SPANISH STUDENTS: Atención  – Any sixth grader from second rotation Spanish please come and take your self-portrait off the wall in the hall by Friday.
  • Summit CommUNITY month proved to be amazing!: The Summit Students were able to donate $2,995.30 to Johnston Partnership Place!  The money raised will be used to fund Summit’s Friday Friends.  This program sends bags of food home on the weekends, when school meals are not available to students. We collected approximately 600 personal care items for Johnston Partnership Place. All this helped us reach our goal for recess time for all Summit Students. A HUGE thanks to all the parents, students, and volunteers to make all this happen!  It is great to be a Summit CommUNITY! Remember our final Summit CommUNITY celebration is this Thursday, April 4 from 5 – 8 pm at Skate North.  $7 will get you in the door and your skates for the evening.
