STUDENT LEADER MEETING
There will be a Student Leader meeting on Friday, October 30th at 7:00 AM in the Summit Library.
IMPORTANT GOODNOTES INFORMATION
As some of you might know, the GoodNotes 4 app is no longer updating and students are losing the ability to back up their documents. The district has purchased GoodNotes 5 for all students who currently are using GoodNotes 4. Those students will need to open the Self Service Cart and download GoodNotes 5. Do not delete GoodNotes 4 until after all of the documents have been transferred to the new app! Once GoodNotes 5 has been downloaded, they will need to follow the ATTACHED directions in order to transfer documents from the old app. Those directions are also found in the Books App along with a video tutorial. See Mrs. Burns in HQ if you have any questions. Thanks!
SUMMIT CULTURE CLUB
Mrs. Heston and Mrs. Brock are starting the Summit Culture Club, previously known as School Climate Committee. This is a group designed to promote positivity and help ensure our school is a culturally sensitive and accepting place for everyone. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, we encourage you to apply. Applications can be found at:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScNn60Go00YB8WyXXPIk2-00qndPHDmWrtkWUImaCWqr2xjGw/viewform
Applications are due on October 31st. If you are currently a member of the Student Leaders, please do not apply for the Summit Culture Club as the two groups work closely together. Please see Mrs. Heston or Mrs. Brock with any questions.

From the Desk of Zoe Washington is about a middle school girl, Zoe, who receives a letter from her father whom she has never met. Her dad is in prison for a crime that occurred right before she was born. Zoe decides to write him back and through their letters, she learns that her dad claims to be innocent and had an alibi for the crime that his lawyer never pursued. Is he really innocent? Can Zoe prove it? Read this page-turner to find out!
