NO SCHOOL MARCH 16 – 20  SPRING BREAK

NATIONAL SCHOOL BREAKFAST WEEK MARCH 2 – 6, 2020

Thank you to Summit Middle School Breakfast Staff, Bernanda, Shannon and Fahira.  These folks are up early to prepare a variety of hot breakfast sandwiches, cereal and cereal bars, breakfast pastries and breakfast pizza which are served along with fresh fruit or juice and milk.  Over 100 breakfast meals are served each day at Summit.

Busy weekday mornings make it a challenge for many families to find time for a healthy breakfast.  Studies show that students who eat a healthy breakfast are more likely to:

  • Reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math
  • Score higher on standardized tests
  • Have better concentration and memory
  • Be more alert
  • Maintain a healthy weight

Don’t forget to pick-up a breakfast that is “Out of This World” delicious and nutritious!  Doors open at 7:15 am.
