Academic Calendars for next two years up for Jan. 13 public hearing, vote

JOHNSTON, Ia. (Jan. 3, 2025) — The Johnston Community School District is moving to a system of establishing academic calendars for the next two years, to help everyone’s planning. Here’s a look at draft Academic Calendars for 2025-2026, as well as for 2026-2027.

There will be a public hearing and vote by the school board on these calendars at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13 in the JCSD Board Room, 6510 NW 62nd Ave., Johnston.
