JHS students named 2023 Dragon Royalty

Dragon Royalty 2023JOHNSTON, Ia. (Sept. 19, 2023) — Johnston High School is proud to announce the 10 students selected to be 2023 Dragon Royalty! 👑

Members of this year’s Johnston homecoming court are: Huda Anglo, Maggie Burry, Mari Campbell, Aubrey Clark, Ellie Jauron, Andrew Maitre, Ben Neville, Brayden Picken, Zach Scothorn and Courtney Sweet.

They will be recognized during the homecoming parade on Thursday, and at the school assembly and before the football game on Friday.

The homecoming court embodies what it means to be a dragon — qualities including leadership, achievement, responsibility, determination, and open-mindedness.
These students are involved in numerous extracurricular activities from cross country to track and field, tennis, wrestling, cheerleading, dance, band, student council, mock trial, show choir, National Honor Society and peer tutoring, to name a few. Congratulations!
