National History Day is a competition in which students create an in-depth, research-based project covering a historical topic that fits the annual theme. This year’s theme is, “Debate and Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences.”
Eleven JHS and JMS students on April 25 competed in the state competition for National History Day. During the state competition, students participated in a 10-minute interview with the judges. Their projects were evaluated for historical quality, relation to the annual theme and clarity of presentation.
Congratulations to all of our Johnston students who participated!
