Seniors Honored at Stepping Toward Success Banquet
On May 13, ten JHS seniors were honored at the fourth annual Stepping Toward Success banquet. This banquet is held to recognize students who were nominated by a faculty member for improving or maintaining excellence in their academics, behavior, attendance, or overall citizenship. Frequently, many of the recipients have had to overcome obstacles in their lives to turn things around.
This banquet allows high school staff to acknowledge students’ achievements and success. Students and a staff member who the student believes has helped them be successful are recognized.
