The District’s Special Election for the renewal of the SAVE Revenue Purpose Statement and continuation of the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) was successful with both measures passing on March 2, 2021.

Results from the Polk County Auditor’s office as of 8:30 p.m. on March 2 indicate an 88% voter approval on SAVE and 82% voter approval on PPEL; a simple majority of 50% on each measure was needed to pass. Please note that results on the special election ‘Unofficial’ until certified by the County Board of Supervisors.

As these ballot measures asked for a renewal and continuation, JCSD residents will not see a change in school services, taxes, or funding. We are planning to use our continued resources for infrastructure updates, such as costly HVAC equipment, improvements to our broadband digital telecommunications, student technology, equipment, and facility needs.
