Sanitizer for Students Free Hand Sanitizer Giveaway Event

August 17, 2020 (West Des Moines, IA) – After giving away over 1000 gallons of free hand sanitizer since the onset of COVID 19, Foundry Distilling Co. is continuing their mission to help keep residents safe as school resumes this fall. This Saturday from noon – 3:00pm Foundry will hand out one free bottle of 8.45 oz hand sanitizer to students who drive by the distillery. There is a limit of one bottle per car, however additional hand sanitizer will be available to purchase.
“We were thrilled we could help so many people back in April when we initially began our free hand sanitizer giveaway.” said Foundry owner Scott Bush. “It was one way we could show our support for the community and customers who support us. We want to make sure students are safe this fall and this seemed like a great way to once again step up and do our part.” he added.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says washing with soap and water is the best way to clean your hands, but when that’s not an option, the agency recommends using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
