Johnston “Return to Learn” Forum is June 23
What Does the 2020-21 School Year Look Like?
All school districts in Iowa must submit a “Return To Learn” plan to the state outlining how they will address disruptions to learning due to the pandemic.
Our teams of administrators, teachers, students, and community members have been digging into what school may look like for students in the Johnston Community School District. Our plan addresses three possible scenarios we believe may happen this fall:
- Socially distanced in-person learning
- Required online learning
- A hybrid of required online learning and in-person learning
Our Return To Learn Community Forum will update the community on the work done so far in anticipation of what school may look like for required online, hybrid, and in person learning this fall. All plans are still in the development phase, but we hope community members and employees will take this opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and pose considerations. Please join us!
