JHS Cheer Brings Home National Title

Congratulations to the Johnston High School Competition Cheer Team for their recent achievement at the NCA High School Cheerleading National Competition, February 1-2, 2020, in Dallas, Texas.

JHS competed in the Advanced Small Game Performance division with 11 other teams. It is the largest division in the high school school advanced category at the NCA competition. In a two-day competition, the Dragon Competition Cheer Team took first both days, fielding minimal deductions in their routine. As a result of their hard work, athleticism, and talent, the team brought home the National title on Sunday night!
