Dragon Scholarship Fund Annual Auction Happens March 7

The Johnston Dragon Scholarship Fund (DSF) Board is excited to announce the date for its upcoming fundraising auction.

Auction Details

All community members are welcome to attend our annual DSF Auction on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 6:00-10:00 PM. The event is being held at the Hyperion Field Club, located at 7390 NW Beaver Drive in Johnston, Iowa. This fundraiser is more than just an auction! It’s an opportunity to enjoy a night of music, entertainment and food while joining in the community effort to support our Johnston Dragons. Some of the featured auction items this year will be MLB game tickets, VIP seats at this year’s graduation ceremony, experience packages and much more!

Each year your donations are making a difference. Last school year, we awarded more than 250 scholarships to Johnston graduating seniors. There are many more students that we would like to help and your attendance at our auction can make this happen.

The Dragon Scholarship Fund Board’s goal is to give every Johnston High School senior financial assistance as they continue their education beyond high school. We raise money in the community through personal and business donations, and at several events held throughout the year. Dragon Scholarship Fund differs from other scholarships in that we strive to help every graduating senior who completes the six-step application process. We believe everyone deserves a chance to earn a scholarship, regardless of class rank, financial need, gender, race, creed, or ability.
