JCSD Finance Earns Excellence Award

COE Recipient LogoThe Johnston Community School District finance department has once again earned the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting.

The district has long been a recipient of the ASBO International Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. Most recently, the department earned the award for their FY17 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), which is a complete audited financial statement of the district that conforms to guidelines recommended by the Government Finance Officers Association and the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International. It speaks to the district’s outstanding achievement in financial reporting practices.
