District-wide emergency notification test is November 20
The Johnston Community School District will be testing its emergency notification systems in preparation for winter weather on Tuesday, November 20 at 4 p.m. All notification lines for each student and employee in the district will be tested, including phone, email, text message, and mobile app. Additionally, notifications will be posted on social media (Facebook, Twitter) and the district website, similar to what would be done during severe weather.
If parents have changes to their contact information, they should contact their school; employees should make changes on Employee Online.
