2018 Homecoming Information

Johnston Homecoming traditions are right around the corner! Festivities will start on September 24 and go through September 29. Many are specific to individual schools, such as dress up days or other celebrations. The community is encouraged and invited to attend the Homecoming parade on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Parade entries/participants will line up along Greendale Road and within the three cul-de-sacs on Greendale. The parade route takes place along Pioneer Parkway, starting at Greendale and ending at Johnston Middle School. This section of road will be closed during the parade.

The Homecoming football game will take place on Friday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. as the Dragons take on the Ottumwa Bulldogs. Th theme is “blackout,” so wear your black clothing. There are a number of home sporting events taking place during Homecoming week – come out and cheer on the Dragons to victory! View the schedule here.
