Attend a legislative forum on April 7

Residents of Johnston and surrounding communities have two opportunities on Saturday, April 7 to meet with local legislatures and speak to them about current issues.

The first local forum will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Grimes Community Center in Grimes, IA. Sen. Brad Zaun and Rep. Jake Highfill will be in attendance to speak with constituents.

The second opportunity is also on Saturday, April 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Summit Middle School. Sen. Brad Zaun and Rep. Jake Highfill will be at this location as well.

These forums are free and open to the public. It’s a great opportunity to speak with elected officials about the issues that matter most to you.
