Information for Girls State Basketball Tournament

Our community, including parents and students, are encouraged to cheer on and support our basketball players during the first round of the 2018 Girls State Basketball Tournament. Johnston will take on Waukee on Monday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. There will be no pre-sale tickets; tickets will be sold at Wells Fargo or online.

All students (in all grades) who wish to attend the game will be excused from classes 8:35 a.m. thru 12:30 p.m. If parents wish to excuse their student, please email your school’s secretary or send a note with your student to the attendance office on Monday morning. Please include the day and time frame of the absence.  Students are expected to return for the afternoon portion of the day; failure to do so will be an unexcused absence.

A pep bus will not be provided this year.
