Buryanek, Shepherd Honored by Johnston Chamber
The Johnston Chamber of Commerce has announced their 2017 Businessperson, Citizen, and Ambassador of the Year. Two of the award recipients are Johnston Community School District employees.
The Johnston Chamber Citizen of the Year is Nancy Buryanek, who serves as the Director of the Johnston Community Education program. The Johnston Chamber Ambassador of the Year is Melissa (Missy) Shepard, an associate at Wallace Elementary. These two women have dedicated many hours of time and effort to making Johnston a welcoming community to all who live here. Thank you for being such fantastic representatives for our district!
The two, along with 2017 Businessperson of the year Allan Graham, will be honored at the Chamber’s upcoming Annual Banquet, Feb. 15, 2018.
