Showzam! spectator reminders

The annual Showzam! show choir invitational will take over Johnston, January 19 and 20. Showzam! features top show choirs from around the region. Middle schools will perform and receive awards on Friday. High school prep and female show choirs will compete in the morning and early afternoon of Saturday. Varsity show choirs will compete Saturday starting mid-afternoon. The top six choirs based on judges overall scores from the entire Saturday schedule (not limited to varsity) will compete in the finals on Saturday night, with awards for all six places.

Showzam! will take place at Johnston High School. Come early to get a good seat! Spectators are encouraged to use the south-side activity/athletic doors by the gym. From there, performances can be watched via big screens in the gym or in the auditorium as seating allows.
