JHS Competition Cheer Team Takes Runner Up Title at State

The Johnston High School Competition Cheer Team finished as State Runners Up in the 2017 Iowa High School State Cheerleading Championships on Sunday, Nov. 5.  This follows a State Runner Up finish in 2015 and a State Championship in 2016.  They have also earned two Grand Champions titles this season at the University of Iowa Spirit Spectacular and the Triton Challenge in Fort Dodge. Team members will compete at NCA High School Nationals in Dallas, TX in January. Congratulations to the team members and their coaches on a great state performance!

The 2017-18 JHS Competition Cheer Team earned a state runner up finish at the state meet.
