Sundae in the Park is August 6

Kids enjoy building an ice cream sundae at the annual Sundae in the park event.

Families and community members are invited to the annual Sundae in the Park social on August 6, starting at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Johnston Commons, between the Johnston Public Library and the Historical Museum and Barn.

The Johnston Community Education program and the City of Johnston are partnering to provide access/information to city services, youth organizations, free ice cream sundaes and music. The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs/blankets as they check out city vehicles, visit organization booths, listen to music, and enjoy free ice cream!
