Timber Ridge offers summer library hours
Throughout the summer, teachers at Timber Ridge Elementary will be offering weekly library time for families.
Each Thursday – with the exception of July 6 – families are invited to come to the school from 9 to 11 a.m. to visit the library, check out books, and work on reading skills. Teachers are volunteering their time in efforts to help students and their families maintain reading proficiency gained during the school year.
When the Timber Ridge library isn’t open, families are invited to check out the Free Little Library located outside of the school building. It is stocked with books for a variety of reading levels and operates on the “take a book, leave a book” concept. Most Johnston elementary schools have a free little library at their building.
The Timber Ridge teachers hope to see you this summer on their library Thursdays!
