New Stop Signs Placed at Lawson, Timber Ridge

Attention Johnston drivers! Have you noticed these new stop signs near Johnston schools? They’re here for a very important reason: to keep our kids safe. The City of Johnston, Johnston Police Department and Johnston Community School District came together to create safer intersections near schools. These new stop signs are taller and on both sides of the street so everyone can see them. They will be up all day when school is in session. The short, roll out stop signs are going away. Please pay attention and come to a complete stop when you roll up to the line. We can all do our part to keep our kids safe.  Thank you for obeying the new signs!
