Girls Bowling Team Named State Champs

Call it a three-peat. The Johnston High School Girls Bowling Team took home the Class 3A State Championship title on Wednesday, February 22. This is the third year in a row the Johnston team has taken home top honors. The team also scored a record-high series of 3107 pins.

Individually, JHS bowlers Chantelle Foster and Madi Singleton placed third and sixth, respectively.

Congratulations to the following members of the girls bowling team: Chantelle Foster, Maggie Lumley, Lexi Norris, Madi Singleton, Jessica Snyder, and Morgan Wolf. The team is coached by Scott and Xan Taylor and Terry Hicks.
