Innovation, Synergy Sizzle at Star Struck

The Waukee (IA) Star Struck Show Choir Competition took place the weekend of Saturday, January 14. The two Johnston High School show choirs – Innovation and Synergy – came home with an armful of awards. Since 2014, Innovation has not lost a competition in Iowa.

Final results from Waukee:

  • 1st Place: Johnston Innovation. Also winner of best vocals.
  • 2nd Place: Prairie. Winner of best choreography.
  • 3rd Place: Valley
  • 4th Place: Johnston Synergy. Synergy also took home the Grand Championship in the prep division.
  • 5th Place: Southeast Polk
  • 6th Place: Sioux Falls Washington
