JMS Mock Trial Succeeds at State

JMS Mock Trial brought home a trophy and three outstanding performance recognitions from the state competition.

Four 8th grade Mock Trial team members were recognized for outstanding performances during the competition. Chase McLaren and Rachel Winkler were named Outstanding Attorneys and Julia Fergus and Tanner Kenin were named Outstanding Witnesses.

And that’s not all – Johnston Middle School’s Team Firestorm took home the 11th place state trophy.

Team Firestorm members include 7th graders Gus Arthur, Stephen Beaman, and Dylan Coslin, and 8th graders Mikayla Dobson, Karshana Kalyanaraman, Tanner Kenin, Zoey Kloewer, Morgan Lee, and Rachel Winkler.
