Men’s Golf Qualifies for State Tournament

Johnston’s 2016 Men’s Golf Team qualified for the state golf tournament on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.

Congratulations to the 2016 Men’s Golf Team, who qualified for the state golf tournament on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.

The Dragons shot 312 and tied for first place. The tournament took place at Veenker Golf Course in Ames, Ia.

The team will be playing in the state golf tournament this Friday and Saturday, October 7-8, at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City, Ia. Tee time is 10:30 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday, weather permitting. There is no cost to attend. 

Representing the Dragons are Nick Pittman, Nathan Petrak, Akansh Gupta, Brady Green, Caleb Peters and Colin Pranger.

The men’s team appreciate all support and contributions to the event’s great atmosphere.
