Providing programs beyond the classroom — Community Education includes a lot more than the name suggests. While we do offer educational opportunities for the community, we also offer athletic, aquatic, school age child care and preschool opportunities.
Kids Connection – KTC (Ph- 515-252-8490)
KTC is JCSD’s before and after school child care program. KTC provides a safe, reliable, affordable child care option for students at all 5 elementary schools in grades DK-5 during the school year. KTC also provides full day care during the summer. We provide enjoyable, motivating and structured activities. Choose a contract that meets your family’s individual needs.
Preschool & Early Childhood (Ph- 515-727-5352)
Johnston Early Learning Academy (JELA) offers 2 and 3-year-old preschool through Community Ed (4-year-old preschool is through JCSD). You can also find upcoming classes and activities for your preschool-aged child.
