Educational Opportunities

This exploring engineering event is hosted at Iowa State University from 9:30am to 3pm on March 29th. Students will hear from professors about their majors and participate in hands on activities to learn about the different engineering disciplines.

GDE Day is a day for girls to discover engineering with the Society of Women Engineers at Iowa State University. During this event participants will experience hands-on engineering skills and concepts. GLEE Day will be held at on Saturday, April 5th.

The Girls' Entrepreneurship Incubator (GEI) empowers young women by providing mentorship, resources, and hands-on experience to develop entrepreneurial skills. Through workshops, networking, and real-world projects, GEI fosters innovation, confidence, and leadership in aspiring female entrepreneurs.

The annual Drake University Voice Intensive (DUVI) is a summertime camp designed for young singers ages 14+ to develop their voices and build confidence in performing and auditioning.

In June 2025, students will have the opportunity to travel to Europe, including England, Switzerland, France, and Germany. We will be traveling with EF Educational Tours. For more information, please RSVP to our informational meeting on Oct. 26, 2023.

I am a former teacher who now works with elementary age children and their families. I help children learn to love learning in ways they learn best. I also guide parents to have meaningful relationships with the children in joyful homes. Coaching is individual to meet each person's needs.
