Don’t be late! For a Very Important Date!

July 1st, the Activities Department will open registration for athletics. Registration is due August 1st. Registration Link

After August 1st, the Activities Department manually checks each and every registration, to ensure students are eligible, that they have a current physical uploaded. When this happens, the status will change from “pending” to “Yes”, “Doctor’s Reviews” or “No”.

  • Yes = Good to go for that season or sport, no additional information needed
  • Doctor’s Review = The physical will be expiring within the season. Parents need to schedule an appointment
  • No = No physical attached/uploaded, incorrect physical date or expired physical. The student will be required to sit out from practice and games/meets until the status is updated by the Activities Department.

“ID does not exist” = your student and their information is not in the athletic system yet. This occurs when a student registers after the first week of July. Please email the Activities Department, to have your student added in the system.

HIGH SCHOOL TRANSFER STUDENTS must meet with the Head Activities Director, before attending or participating in any practices. The Activities Director in connection with the IHSAA/IGHSAU will notify the students and parents of the eligibility with the transfer.

ALL ATHLETES must be registered, have a current sports physical on file, and be marked eligible before they can participate in any practice or game. Each coach will take attendance on the first day of practice, and anyone missing from the list will be required to sit out until they are cleared by the Activities Department.

The Activities Department has a grace period of three weeks for students to get registered and eligible. After the three week mark that season athletics will be closed, and no additional students will be able to join a team as a player and or manager. **Students that transfer mid-season from another district, will need clearance from the Activities Director to determine eligibility.**

Physical Examination

Students registering for athletics must have a current physical examination before the student is authorized to participate in practice. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be completed and uploaded online no later than 5 school days prior to the first day of practice/tryouts.

Physicals are valid for 13 months from the date of the last exam.

Below is a list of the seasons, and the start date for each. Reports will be run about 4 weeks before a season, and rosters created. Therefore, students must be registered at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the season, or they will not be on the roster, and will miss all emails, pre-season information, etc.

**If you are reading this and did not register by August 1, please register NOW for winter, spring or summer, so that your student is on the roster. FALL Athletics are closed and we are not allowing any additions to athletic teams at this time.
